Midterm Exam

This is my midterm exam! We were instructed to make a grid of 35 squares and make a picture by making a collages. I chose to use sunflowers as my main subjects and incorporate some other things around them. I really like the water bottle and sky. The tree I thought added a darker, more real look to the project. I did all of the requirement that were listed for this project. I really enjoyed completing it!

Kaleidoscope

For this project we took pictures of things around the school that looked interesting. For me, I took pictures of the murals inside and outside the school. Then I took the image and flipped and copied it until I had made a kaleidoscope! This first one is a photo of the sky of he mural in the cafeteria. The second one was and picture of a dogwood branch in the mural outside and the last one was a snap of a few peaches in another mural we have here. I liked this project because no matter what you started with, you never knew what you were going to end up with!

9 Square

For this project, we were instructed to take images of ourselves and put them in a 3 X 3 square. I chose to use symmetry and color to make my project different. I also used filters and the color replacement brush to add interest to the work. I flipped most of the images except the middle one because I wanted to leave that one how it was originally. I liked doing this project because I got to mess with pictures of myself.
